Messages are intended to be private between the participants, but BIMRS may access or review messages when a user submits a report, when needed to investigate abuse or a security issue, or when legally required.
Users can block or report other users. BIMRS may remove content or suspend messaging privileges when necessary to enforce its policies.
6. Notifications
With your permission, the app may send push notifications about conference announcements, schedule changes, emergencies, sessions, exhibitors, or other event information.
You can control push-notification permissions through your device settings. Disabling notifications does not prevent you from viewing available announcements inside the app.
7. Data retention
Attendee, trainer, and exhibitor access generally expires 60 days after the conference ends. Account records may be retained so returning users can reactivate their accounts for a future conference.
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including conference administration, account reactivation, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
Private messages, reports, analytics, and administrative records may be retained for a reasonable period consistent with operational, safety, and legal needs. When information is no longer required, we delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it.
8. Account and data deletion
You may request deletion of your EuroTrain app account and associated personal information:
- In the app: [Profile or Settings → Account → Delete Account]
- By email: info@bimrs.org
We may ask you to verify your identity before completing the request. We will delete or de-identify information associated with the account unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or another lawful purpose.
Deleting the app from your device does not automatically delete your account.
Certain information may remain in backups for a limited period before being removed through our normal backup cycle. Content involving another person, such as a message received by another user, may remain in that person’s account where permitted by law.
9. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request:
- Access to personal information
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of personal information
- A copy of certain information
- Restriction of or objection to certain processing

To submit a request, contact [privacy contact email]. We may verify your identity before responding.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their passwords and immediately report suspected unauthorized access.
BIMRS staff cannot view or create users’ passwords. Password resets are completed through secure emailed links.
11. Children’s privacy
The app is intended for professional conference participants and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the app.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact [privacy contact email].

Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations where BIMRS or its service providers operate. Applicable privacy protections may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
13. Third-party services
The app may link to RegFox, survey tools, websites, maps, forms, and other third-party services. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy policies.
